Hatton Garden playlist: Golden tracks from The Goldsmiths’ Centre

The Goldsmiths’ Centre, located a stone’s throw from the historic jewellery quarter Hatton Garden, is the UK’s leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths. Check out their playlist, inspired by all things golden:

We offer support and training for jewellers, silversmiths, and those working in the allied trades to develop successful and rewarding careers. We bring together trainee and working goldsmiths and those interested in the trade in a unique community that works and learns together to create a skilled workforce, boost the economy and promote craftsmanship in the UK.

Established in 2012, our values, Creativity, Craftsmanship and Community, are part of everything we do. We seek to inspire a new generation to create contemporary work, to develop outstanding craftsmanship skills and business knowledge. Our supportive and knowledgeable tutors have extensive experience and provide high-quality skills training, from silversmithing, engraving to business planning, in state-of-the-art facilities.

The Goldsmiths’ Centre is also an important hub, with affordable workshop spaces and a buzzing café called Bench, where like-minded people and businesses can meet, share ideas, skills or thrive. Our specialist programme keeps the trade up to date with emerging technologies, techniques and innovations, whilst our public programme of events and free exhibitions aims to give a fascinating insight into the secret world of goldsmithing.

So, whether you’re an emerging designer, member of the trade or the public, listen into this golden playlist and come and visit us next time you are near the Goldsmiths’ Centre.
