Boom Cycle’s get up and go playlist

Not just an indoor cycling studio, Boom Cycle engages riders mentally as well as physically through their unique experience. No numbers, no competition, just fun. With the lights low and a world-class sound system, riders are swept away and immersed into the ultimate ‘party on a bike’ experience. A programme designed to be anything but exclusive; there’s no pretentiousness, just high fives all round. Their daily rides are led by expert motivators and have been adopted into the daily lifestyle of their Boom’ing community. Boom Cycle caters to all abilities but most importantly is here to encourage you to cut loose from your day and forget your stresses.

Check out this playlist from Boom Cycle, designed to help get you moving! Below, you’ll find a walkthrough from Boom Cycle Co-founder, Hilary Rowland. Enjoy!

Tracks 1 through 3: When getting up in the early early morning to go and grab a workout before going to the office in the UK in the winter I absolutely MUST have a groove to latch onto. That groove can’t be anything too severe in the first few minutes I’m awake after finding my earbuds in the dark (so I don’t wake my husband) and getting them in my ears. It must be a smooth groove that eases me into what is sure to be another full-on day! I like to plan my pre-workout morning listening to, first of all, make it okay that I’m tired and its dark and cold and I am up despite the bed feeling way more comfy than it has ever done before I go to sleep at night.

Tracks 4-6: Next, after I feel like its not so bad to be up, I like my music to suggest today might be MY DAY – I mean, why not? I am up before almost everyone I know and I am going to work out…right?! I am a total WINNER!

Tracks 7-11: Then, after we have established that I am a total go-getter and day is mine for the taking,  its time to go full-tilt into the sentiment “LETS DO THIS!” And Carpe Diem the rest of my way to the studio arriving warmed up, a third of the way through my MOVE GOAL and humming along to the tunes! It’s a journey that certainly comes in stages, but it works for me! I hope it works for you too!
